Chapter 826:.

“Don’t explain anymore. You are not a romantic person by nature. I know that and I won’t get mad at you. Just come in.” Jasmine grabbed his arm and went inside.

Jasmine was indeed a considerate and thoughtful girl. She was not arrogant and made no demands on him because of his young age. Instead, she was quite understanding of his work and also of his boredom. Boyce thought he could never meet a better girl than her.

Boyce was very happy to be with her.

Jasmine saw that the restaurant patrons were enjoying their food and it appeared to be tasty. She looked at the menu on the wall and ordered a few dishes. She would like to eat something light, as she had just recovered from her fever. So he asked, “What would you like to eat?”

Boyce replied, “I’ll have whatever you eat.”

Jasmine smiled and looked for a seat to sit with Boyce after ordering the food. The food was served rather quickly. Jasmine didn’t have much of an appetite. They left the restaurant together after eating.

Suddenly, Jasmine stopped walking.

“What’s wrong?” Boyce turned his head and looked at her.

Jasmine didn’t say anything. She didn’t know if it was because she had eaten too fast or because she had eaten something dirty. However, her stomach was a little uncomfortable and she felt like throwing up.

Boyce touched his forehead, but Jasmine blocked it out, “No fever.”

“I see you don’t seem to be feeling well,” Boyce said with concern.

Jasmine stood for a while, as she didn’t feel so unpleasant. She put her hand to her chest and said, “It’s okay. Let’s go.”

They both got into the car. Boyce drove her into town to buy a new phone, as it was inconvenient to contact her without it. Besides, she was about to return to B-town.

The two arrived home at ten o’clock at night. Boyce lay down on the bed after taking a shower. Meanwhile, Jasmine pulled up the blanket and hugged Boyce after bathing.

She took the initiative to remove the bath towel from her hands.

Boyce kissed her, “You’re still sick.”

“I’m fine now, don’t you miss me?”. Jasmine wrapped her arms around him as her soft body rubbed against his warm chest.

It would be a lie to say she didn’t want to make love. Her body wouldn’t lie even if she held back in her heart.

Jasmine returned the next day and slept all the way home.

For half a month, Armand and Elizabeth did not speak to each other. Even if Elizabeth took the initiative to talk to Armand, he remained very indifferent.

Elizabeth gradually stopped talking.

After Theresa left for two days, she never contacted Armand. However, Armand was very eager to see her, so he went to C-Town secretly.

The sun was shining and the weather was especially nice that day. It was neither too cold nor too hot. The maple leaves along the roadside were turning red and some fell to the ground.

Theresa went back to work and didn’t mention anything about her. Oscar didn’t ask either, as he respected her as an adult. They all had things they didn’t want to talk about.

Oscar was still the same where he liked to wear fancy clothes. Today he wore a flowered shirt with a white suit. Theresa was tired of criticizing his aesthetics. He walked into Theresa’s office with his car keys in his hand.

“I’m off early today,” Oscar said as he sat down at his desk.

Theresa looked up. Her white cheeks were much thinner and her eyes were shining, “Oscar, can you behave like an old man?”

“Where do I not give the impression of being an old man?” Oscar didn’t feel at all childish as he sat at Theresa’s desk.

He was a very lively guy.

“Change your clothes now. I’ll take you somewhere.”noveldrama

Theresa said, “I’m busy. I’m not going anywhere.”

“You’ve been working day and night since you got back. Let’s get some rest, otherwise your body won’t take it. I’ll take you to relax.” Oscar took the brush out of her hand.

He grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the chair.

Theresa felt helpless, “Where are you taking me? I’m telling you I’m not going to any arcade this time.”

“We’re not going there this time. I’m taking you somewhere else.” Oscar pulled a dress from the closet that was on display in the store and handed it to Theresa, “Put it on.”

Theresa was speechless.

She took the dress, “Oscar, what’s the occasion, why do I have to wear a dress?”

“A formal occasion.” Oscar smiled, “Go change it. I’ll wait for you at the door.”

Theresa didn’t feel like going out. She just wanted to be left alone. Since she was accompanying Oscar to attend the occasion, she needed to meet a lot of people. Therefore, she felt it was really annoying since she had to wear a dress as well as makeup.

“Oscar…”

Theresa tried to talk Oscar out of letting her accompany him.

Oscar said, “Then do me a favor. I’ll wait for you at the door.”

Theresa sighed and could only go to the fitting room to change clothes.

Oscar’s car was parked on the shoulder in front of the store.

Armand’s car was parked not far from the entrance. He had been very quiet during this period. In the past, he used to be the most talkative and outgoing of the three. Now, he had changed his behavior.

He came here without informing anyone, as he just wanted to take a look at Theresa.

He couldn’t sleep for many nights. He looked for her phone and wanted to call or text her, but never had the courage.

That day, Dolores said that he had married Theresa in a hurry only because Elizabeth urged him to get married.
