Unforgettable love

Chapter 835

Chapter 835:.

“When will Joshua be back? I have to go back tomorrow,” Noah asked.

He had come mainly to see the baby and, incidentally, visit Dolores.

Dolores replied, “He’s been taken out for a while. He should be back soon. It’s very unusual for him to come. Please stay for lunch.”

“Sure,” Noah agreed cheerfully.

When it was time to prepare lunch, Dolores asked Coral to cook more dishes.

Since Coral was alone, Dolores was worried that she was too busy. She told her, “If you’re bored, Noah, you can go to the den and find some books to read.”

“I know your house. I’ll make myself at home.” Noah was quite relaxed.

Dolores got up, “All right. I’m going to fix lunch.”

“I’ll help you.” Chloe got up.

Theresa said, “You’re pregnant. You stay here. I’ll help you in the kitchen.”

“She’s still young. I’m fine.” Chloe got up. Dolores pressed her, “We have enough maids. If you get bored, please watch TV.”

Chloe felt a little embarrassed, “Everyone is busy, but I’m idle. It didn’t seem so appropriate.”

Dolores smiled and said, “We’re family.” After that, she walked out of the living room. Theresa followed her. She tugged on Theresa’s hand and asked, “Are you okay?”

Theresa shook her head, “I’m fine.”

Dolores sighed. What worried her most was Theresa.

Although Theresa had hidden her depressed appearance very well, Dolores still noticed it.

Seeing them enter the kitchen, Coral said, “I can manage on my own.”

“It will take you a long time to finish them all. Let us help you do it faster,” Theresa said. She poked Dolores and asked, “Did you do this on purpose?”

After all, in the past, Chloe had lusted after Dolores’ husband. Now, they became relatives. Things were so unpredictable.

Dolores looked at her, “Are you making fun of me?”

“I’m making fun of myself, who would I make fun of?” Theresa turned to Coral, “I’ll cut your vegetables.”

Coral replied, “Okay, I’ll wash them.”

Dolores said, “I’ll cook them.”

They worked together quickly. Soon, lunch was ready. Jessica and Kevin took the baby home. Noah took Joshua from Kevin’s arms. He noticed that the baby looked a lot like Dolores.

“You rest, Jessica. I’ll get you a glass of water,” Kevin said.

Jessica reached over, “I can do it myself. But thank you. You must be pretty tired since you’ve been carrying the baby the whole time.” Jessica poured him a glass of water.

Kevin smiled.

Coral came out of the kitchen and said, “Boys, wash your hands. It’s time to eat.”

They sat down at the dining room table. Dishes were served.

Jessica asked if Jayden was home.

Lately Jayden was always out. He said he was going out to meet his friends.

At the mention of him, Dolores couldn’t keep the smile off her face. However, since she was with guests, she forced a smile.

“It’s good for an old man to meet his friends. His grandchildren go to school. If he stays home all the time, he’ll get bored,” Chloe said.

Dolores had also thought the same thing. Victoria had passed away, so Jayden must have been very lonely. She thought it was good for him to get to know his friends. As the youngest of the family, she could only care for him, but only her other half could accompany him mentally.

However, when Dolores thought about it now, she felt how neglected she had been.

Jayden had been sick, but neither Matthew nor she knew it.

She felt quite guilty that she hadn’t cared enough about her eldest.

She filled Kevin’s bowl with soup, “How are you, Kevin?”

After learning that Jayden might be sick, she worried a lot about the people around her, fearing that they might be sick too. Kevin was also getting older.

He was driving a factor in C-Town.

“I’m doing pretty well. I’m in good health. I have something to do now, so I feel like I’ve gotten younger. You can come to C-Town with us. Then I can see the baby more often.”noveldrama

After speaking, Kevin realized he had been wrong: “Matthew wouldn’t let you go there, I’m sure,” he added.

In the past, Dolores had had that idea, too. Now, she didn’t want to. Matthew was too busy. Dolores wanted to take good care of her family.

After lunch, Noah held the baby for a while. He couldn’t stay long because he had to go back to the military base. Before he left, he said, “Dolores, we’ll come see you when we’re free.”

Dolores said, “Okay.”

Theresa had stayed at the villa quite often, so she was right at home. After lunch, she helped Coral wash the dishes. Dolores went to take care of the baby.

After cleaning things up, Theresa still hadn’t received any messages from Armand. She began to worry.

She took the initiative to send him a message.

He didn’t answer.

She wondered if Elizabeth was seriously injured.

If not, why wouldn’t Armand reply?

Theresa felt increasingly uneasy. Dolores held the baby. Seeing that Theresa was in a daze as she stood in front of the window, she approached, “Theresa, what are you thinking about?”

“What?”

Theresa looked back and replied, “Nothing.”

Then she added, “Mrs. Bernie has fallen. I wonder how she is now.” She didn’t want to keep anything from Dolores.

“When did it happen?” asked Dolores.

“This morning,” Theresa replied.

Dolores pulled out her phone, “I’ll call Armand and ask him.”

Theresa gave her a glance and emitted an “hmm” to answer. She wanted to know how Elizabeth was doing. Armand wouldn’t get in touch with her, which made her quite uneasy.
