Chapter 1115
Chapter 1115
“I think it’s fine,” Debra said. “I don’t believe he’d do anything to Marion.”
It was better to have Drake pay the bills than stay in the hospital.
She turned to the bodyguard and said, “Okay. Tell your boss to send a car to pick us up.”
“The car’s already waiting outside,” replied the man. “He had prepared it, knowing you’d agree.”
“How thoughtful he is!”
“Yeah.”
Drake had suffered too many losses when dealing with Debra. He had drawn lessons from those failures.
Debra helped Marion out of bed. The moment they stepped out of the room, Drake’s subordinates hurried over to assist.
They smiled flatteringly at Debra and said, “We’re here to help.”
But Marion shot them a cold look before they could come near him. They smiled awkwardly and quickly pulled their hands back.
Debra sighed and continued helping Marion out of the room.
“Why refuse free labor?”
“I don’t like others touching me.”
“Alright, you don’t like others touching you. How about I touch you?”

Marion stepped out of the car.
Drake quickly sat back in his chair. His action confused Kale.
“Boss, they have arrived.”

Kale didn’t know what to say. Just a minute ago, someone had been standing by the window, waiting and watching.
Downstairs, Lara was cleaning the guest room.
Seeing Debra and Marion enter, she quickly approached them. “Mr. and Mrs. Houston, the guest rooms are ready. Please follow me.”
Debra nodded, helping Marion upstairs.
Lara pointed to two guest rooms opposite each other. “Those are your rooms. Please rest early.”
“Wait. Why do we need two rooms?” Debra asked.
“Well, it was Mr. Lowe’s arrangement. He said Mr. Houston was injured and needed rest. It’s not suitable for you to share a room,” Lara explained.
“It’s fine. We prefer to share the room,” Debra said, turning to Marion. “Right, honey?”
“Yeah.” Marion nodded.
Debra turned back to Lara and said, “No need to tell Mr. Lowe. We’re tired and need to rest now.” noveldrama
With that, she helped Marion into the room.
Lara was upset, unsure of how to report this to Drake.
It was perfectly normal for a couple to sleep in the same room, but Drake insisted on preparing two rooms. She didn’t know what he was thinking.
What do you think?
